About Us
The story behind the name, the truck, and the people who show up at your door.

How It Started
Clyde spent years in the Army's 5th Special Forces Group out of Fort Campbell. When he retired, he wanted to build something for his family and his community. Septic work isn't glamorous, but it's essential, and Clyde figured if he could handle Special Forces missions, he could handle what's in your tank.
The name "Poopbusters" was his 11-year-old son's idea. A riff on Ghostbusters. Everyone laughed, and then it stuck. The logo was designed by illustrator Jessica Whitmore, and people have been calling ever since.
The Family
Poopbusters is a family operation through and through. Clyde runs it with his wife Crystal from their farm in Cumberland Furnace. Their four kids, Tyler, Emily, Summer, and Bo, are all part of the picture. When you call Poopbusters, you're calling a family that lives and works right here.
How We Work
We keep it simple. You call, we give you a straight answer on what it'll cost. We show up when we say we will. We do the job right. We clean up after ourselves. If something's wrong with your system, we'll tell you. If it's fine, we'll tell you that too. We don't upsell, we don't play games, and we don't leave a mess.

What your yard looks like when we're done.
